Rockstar's history of console-to-PC gaps
Rockstar has ported every mainline release since GTA III to PC eventually — just never on day one, and never with an early announcement. These are the only gaps we could pin down against two independent sources each. Anything we could not confirm this precisely is left out rather than estimated.

The median, and why we compute it two ways
GTA IV, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 are the three genuinely comparable cases — a PC version of the same game, on the same generation of hardware, following within two years. Their median gap is 12 months.
The 2010 Red Dead Redemption is a different kind of event: its PC release came 14 years and 5 months after the original console launch, as a remaster built for current hardware, not a same-era companion port. Folding that number into the median would be statistically dishonest, so it is shown in the table above for completeness and excluded from the calculation.
This is a historical pattern, not a prediction. Rockstar has never announced a PC release window for any of these games before finishing the console version, and has said nothing at all about GTA 6 on PC. Applying a 12-month median to a November 19, 2026 console launch is arithmetic, not a leak — treat it as "here is what has happened before," not "here is what will happen."
System requirements: what is known
Nothing. Rockstar has not confirmed a PC version of GTA 6 exists, which means there is no product to attach requirements to. No CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, or OS figure has been published by Rockstar, NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Steam, or any other party with the standing to publish one.
Any "GTA 6 PC requirements" table you find elsewhere — minimum, recommended, or otherwise — is invented. How to tell a real announcement from fake news
GTA 6 is the most-searched unreleased game in the world, which makes it the most profitable game to write fake news about. A simple filter catches almost all of it:
If a claim about GTA 6 PC — a date, a spec list, a platform, a price — does not link to a post at rockstargames.com/newswire, an official Rockstar or Take-Two account or SEC filing, do not believe it. "Sources say," "insiders claim," and "leaked document" are not the same as a Rockstar publication, no matter how many outlets repeat the claim afterward — repetition is not corroboration.
